Courselet 1: Engaging Ukrainian Concert Dance in Canada
This session will begin the activities in the first courselet of the CUDAcademy Program of Instructor Studies.　 Dr. Marcia Ostashewski will present initial activities of this courselet that is included as part of the conference.

Lighting & Stage Preparation
This session will present and review the basics of lighting for stage presentations of dance.

Centre Dance: Central Region
Serhi Koroliuk leads this session showing participants how to develop appropriate center dances using his Hopak DVD resource. This session will include instructors participating in the making and rehearsal of a Central Region center dance in the studio.

AUDA Instructor Resources Overview
Nathaniel Ostashewski and Bohdan Tkachyshyn will present information about the new AUDA series of instructor resources. These DVDs include interviews, rehearsals, and teaching demonstrations from regional groups in Ukraine. The regions currently presented in the series include: Transcarpathian, Precarpathian (Hutsul), Volyn, Kuban, and Pollissian. As well, AUDA has produced regionally appropriate music to support the DVD materials.
