Emily Belke

Emily joined AUDA back in 2011, however, she first started Ukrainian dance when her dance instructor at the time, Doug Rachinski, reached out to her and encouraged her to take Ukrainian dance as a new style to add to her many other dance classes. Since then, Emily has dived deep into the Ukrainian dance community. She currently is AUDA’s President, a dancer with Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company, a Ukrainian dance teacher and Zabava go-er. Emily’s favourite Ukrainian dance region is Polissia because of her love of high energy stamping and high kicks. Emily is also a teacher at Ecole Mother D’Youville and a founder of Kinda Epic Productions, which creates and performs Ukrainian inspired ‘dance-icals’. In her limited spare time, she loves to cross stitch.
