Nick Hynek, originally from Lloydminster, AB, Canada, has been passionately involved in Ukrainian dance for 22 years. From a young age, Nick’s love for performing grew through his interests in music, acting, and dancing. He has been an active member of the Ukrainian community for many years and currently instructs the Innisfree and Myrnam Ukrainian Dancers. Since 2023, Nick has served as a board member of the Alberta Ukrainian Dance Association (AUDA) and played a pivotal role in launching the inaugural Kozatska Sich boys’ workshop. Professionally, Nick is a junior high teacher and a dedicated dancer with the Shumka Ukrainian Dancers.
